ZA Cut off Discs for Cast Iron Karbosan Type41

Karbosan zirconium cast cutting discs are manufactured with a mixture of zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide abrasive particles. Zirconium oxide is named as Zirconia. Zirconia abrasives demonstrate a more aggressive material removal action when compared to silicon carbide and aluminum oxide.

Atomic structure of zirconia is stronger than other known abrasives and it has a longer abrasive lifespan. It continues cutting operation without getting blunt.

Karbosan ZA plus cast cutting discs are effective in cutting operations of cast pieces which have high tensile strength. They are recommended for runner and riser cutting of all nodular cast pieces and certain steel cast pieces upon casting.
