A car wash brush washes a vehicle body with bristle soft enough not to scratch the paint. The block is set densely into the head, holds the foam and is drawn across the panel in one direction. The end of the handle is threaded: an extension handle or a flow-through pole screws in so the roof, the glass and the upper panels can be washed from the ground. It is used by the box in car washes, fleet yards and service shops, and the same brush washes caravans, boat hulls and glass. Grit left in the bristle will scratch paint, so the brush is rinsed between vehicles.
