Steel rules, marking gauges and scribers are for marking out: transferring a dimension to the part and scribing a line. A flexible rule follows a curve; a knife-edge straight edge checks flatness by the light gap; a carbide scriber marks hard material. This family comes in 3 options: 300mm, 500mm, 1000mm.
