A fibre disc is abrasive on a vulcanised fibre backing, run on an angle grinder with a rubber backing pad. The stiff backing carries high pressure: it is the disc for dressing welds, deburring and stripping rust, where stock has to come off fast. The grain is aluminium oxide. Size 180. 25 per box. 60 grit and below is stock removal: rust, old paint and weld beads come off here.
