The Lino L2 is a red beam cross line laser projecting one horizontal and one vertical line — 180° horizontal, 90° vertical. Range is 25 m by eye and 80 m with a detector. Levelling accuracy is ±0.2 mm/m within a ±4° self-levelling range, so the tripod only has to be set up roughly and the pendulum trues the line itself. It runs up to 44 hours on the Li-ion battery, is rated IP54 and takes both 1/4″ and 5/8″ tripod threads. It is the standard tool for tiling, drywall, door and window fitting and general layout.
