The Lino L2s is the alkaline-powered version of the same red beam cross line laser: 180° horizontal and 90° vertical lines, 25 m range, 80 m with a detector, ±0.2 mm/m levelling accuracy and a ±4° self-levelling range. The difference is the power source — three 1.5 V AA cells give 13 hours, so it is used on site by swapping batteries rather than carrying a charger.
