Product details
The GFB Die cuts a M12x1.75 metric thread, is made of HSS. A die cuts an external thread on round stock — the counterpart of a tap, which cuts the internal one. It is turned in a die stock. Used to thread bolts, studs and pipe ends and to clean up a damaged thread. The stock has to be at nominal diameter, and chamfering the end helps the die start square.
