Product details
Straight flute machine tap cutting the G1/4″ pipe thread (19 TPI); tapping drill size 11.8 mm. DIN 5156 is the standard for BSP parallel pipe taps, used on housings, manifolds and fitting bores. A straight flute pushes the chip forward, out of the far side of the hole, which suits through holes and short-chipping materials such as cast iron, brass and aluminium.
