Product details
Spiral flute machine tap cutting the G1/8″ pipe thread (28 TPI); tapping drill size 8.8 mm, for pipe threads cut into blind housing bores. A spiral flute lifts the chip back out along the shank, which is what keeps a blind hole from packing with swarf and breaking the tap in long-chipping steels.
