The Ozco ATP36A is a servo-driven arm tapping machine for threads from M5 to M36. The articulated arm reaches 1200 mm and the head works vertically or horizontally: the part is clamped once to the 800x500 mm T-slotted cast table and the holes are tapped in turn by swinging the arm. Motor 1.2 kW, 230 V; top speed 156 rpm. Tap size, pitch, thread depth and speed are set on the touch screen and stored. Torque setting and intelligent torque protection stop the motor when the tap bottoms out, before it breaks.
