Product details
Spiral flute machine tap cutting an M8 thread. Tapping drill size 6.8 mm, which gives the standard thread height. DIN 371 is the short, reduced-shank form for M10 and below. For machine tapping and tapping attachments. A spiral flute lifts the chip back out along the shank, which is what keeps a blind hole from packing with swarf and breaking the tap in long-chipping steels.
