Delta 1000 is a 2,090 kg machine for Ø 630-1000 mm. At this scale welding is part of large infrastructure work where the string is joined on site and then pulled into position. The Delta line is heavy-duty butt fusion for large-diameter infrastructure. Clamps with hydraulic opening, closing and clamping, a hydraulic milling cutter and an on-board heating plate remove the manual handling that large diameters otherwise demand. Welding parameters are recorded with Inspector 2.0 (on request) and can be reported through the Orangecloud platform.
