Yılsan Wooden Handle Cutting-in Paint Brush No 2

A cutting-in brush draws paint along the line where wall meets ceiling, frame, or another colour. The flat bristle block tapers toward the tip, so the brush does not run over the edge. A wooden handle does not slip in a wet hand and does not tire the hand over a long session; the bristle block is clamped to it with a metal ferrule. Unlike plastic it is not softened by solvent based paint or thinner, which is why wooden handles are asked for on oil paint and varnish work. The number is the width of the brush: a small number is for narrow surfaces, edges and corners, a large number covers more area in the same time. A job is usually run with two numbers rather than one — the wide one for the field, the narrow one to finish the edges.
