Yılsan Wooden Handle Super Cutting-in Paint Brush No 4

The Super series is the fullest bristle block in the wooden handle cutting-in range, and it is made only in the wide numbers, No 3 and No 4. Those two are the broad end of cutting-in work: along a frame, a skirting board or a ceiling batten, where the pass has to be long and unbroken. A fuller block carries more paint per load, so the brush is slower to dry out along the line and the joins between passes do not show. The wooden handle is not softened by solvent based paint or thinner. The number is the width of the brush: a small number is for narrow surfaces, edges and corners, a large number covers more area in the same time. A job is usually run with two numbers rather than one — the wide one for the field, the narrow one to finish the edges.
