The GFB Masonry Drill Bit is 10 mm across and 160 mm long, fits an SDS Plus chuck. A masonry bit drills by hammering: a carbide tip on a spiral body, with the machine both rotating and striking so the tip fractures its way forward. Four-cutter heads wander less when they meet rebar. Used for anchor and service holes in concrete, brick, block and natural stone. The bit has to match the machine's chuck — SDS plus and SDS max are not interchangeable — and withdrawing to clear dust keeps it cutting.
