Atlas Cloth Sanding Roll 147 Grade 200 mm x 50 m 60 Grit

Atlas 147 grade cloth roll is aluminium oxide on a cotton-polyester cloth backing, supplied 200 mm wide in a 50 metre roll. The roll is cut to whatever the job needs — a narrow strip, a sheet, a block length — instead of working to the fixed size of a sheet. Cloth resists tearing and folding in a way paper does not, so it is pulled by hand around round work such as pipe and shafting and used on a block on flat work. It is the abrasive for deburring, surface cleaning and pre-polish preparation on timber and on metal of every kind. 60 grit and below is stock removal: old paint, rust and weld beads come off here and the finish is left to the grits that follow.
