Atlas Wet & Dry Sandpaper 188 Silver 60 Grit 230x280 mm

Atlas 188 Silver wet and dry paper is a 230x280 mm sheet carrying silicon carbide grain on a waterproof backing. Sanded wet, the water lifts the removed material clear of the surface: the paper clogs later, the grain cuts for longer, and the surface is left evenly matt rather than scratched. The sheet is used by hand, on a block or on an orbital sander. It works on paint, filler, lacquer, plastic and metal alike, and is the format most asked for in automotive refinishing and in furniture polishing. 60 grit and below is stock removal: old paint, rust and weld beads come off here and the finish is left to the grits that follow.
