Product details
The GFB Auger Bit is 12 mm in diameter, 500 mm long, on a SDS shank. An auger bit has a lead screw and a wide single helix: the screw pulls the bit into the timber and the helix carries the chip out continuously. It works at low speed without pressure. Used for deep holes in timber, logs and heavy sections — service runs for electrics and plumbing. The SDS shank goes straight into a rotary hammer, with the hammer action switched off.
