Magmaweld MegaSTICK 200 Inverter Welding Machine (200 A)

Inverter welding machines convert the mains supply by switching it at high frequency, which delivers the same welding current as a conventional transformer set from a much lighter case and at lower energy consumption. MMA (stick) machines need no gas cylinder, so they can be run straight off the electrode on site, in maintenance work and in steel fabrication. The MegaSTICK 200 is a portable MMA (stick) inverter welding machine delivering up to 200 A from a single-phase 230 V supply. A 10 - 200 A adjustment range and 1.60 - 4.00 mm electrode capacity cover everything from sheet metal to thick sections on one machine. Its defining figure is weight: a 5 kg body carries up ladders, onto scaffolding and around site at about half the load of comparable machines in its current class. Open circuit voltage is 75 V DC and maximum power draw is 9.68 kVA; the IP23 rating and its tolerance of mains voltage fluctuation suit it to outdoor use.
