Ritmo Pipe Aligners Ø 20-160 mm

Aligners hold pipe and fitting on axis and motionless through the weld; in an electrofusion cycle even slight movement ruins the joint. Universal Aligner 63 positions in line, at 45° and 90° on four self-centring jaws with a central swivel, and also welds reducing fittings. Universal Aligner 160 Light adds a quick-release jaw system, while Aligner Eco 20-63 is the economical answer for in-line, 30°, 45°, 90° and T-branch joints. In electrofusion the result is decided largely by surface preparation: the oxidised skin has to be scraped off the whole welding zone, and the pipe has to be round and in line with the fitting. These tools make that preparation repeatable — scraping by hand with a blade leaves untouched patches, and that is the most common cause of failed joints.
