Ritmo Turbo Scraper and Facing Tool Ø 16-63 mm

Turbo tools both face a crooked pipe end and scrape the surface, putting two preparation steps in one tool. Metric Ø 16-63 mm, imperial Ø ½"-2" CTS/IPS and JIS 20/25 versions are all metal-bodied, with a carrying case available on request for the metric and imperial models. In electrofusion the result is decided largely by surface preparation: the oxidised skin has to be scraped off the whole welding zone, and the pipe has to be round and in line with the fitting. These tools make that preparation repeatable — scraping by hand with a blade leaves untouched patches, and that is the most common cause of failed joints.
