Ritmo PS Pipe Scrapers Ø 75-426 mm

PS scrapers remove the oxidised skin from the pipe surface at an even depth before electrofusion. PS 180 handles Ø 75-200 mm outside (SDR 6-26) and Ø 61-184 mm inside; PS 400 handles Ø 137-426 mm outside and Ø 130-391 mm inside, supplied with a carrying bag or a metal case. In electrofusion the result is decided largely by surface preparation: the oxidised skin has to be scraped off the whole welding zone, and the pipe has to be round and in line with the fitting. These tools make that preparation repeatable — scraping by hand with a blade leaves untouched patches, and that is the most common cause of failed joints.
