Ritmo Maya 20-63 Scraper

Maya is a 90 gram compact scraper for Ø 20-63 mm. At 60 x 80 mm it fits in a pocket — the tool a fitter carries permanently for preparing small-diameter electrofusion joints. In electrofusion the result is decided largely by surface preparation: the oxidised skin has to be scraped off the whole welding zone, and the pipe has to be round and in line with the fitting. These tools make that preparation repeatable — scraping by hand with a blade leaves untouched patches, and that is the most common cause of failed joints.
