Drill Chucks
The chuck holds the bit and mounts to the machine; its capacity (1-10 mm, 1.5-13 mm) sets which shanks it takes, and its thread decides which machine it fits. The catalogue holds 77 products.

Type, capacity and fitting
A keyless chuck is quick and tightens one-handed; a keyed chuck grips harder against slip and is preferred for heavy drilling. On SDS machines the chuck mounts through an adapter, so cylindrical shank bits can be used.
The thread is machine specific (1/2"-20 UNF and similar) and is the first thing to confirm when buying. Capacity is the largest shank the chuck accepts.
| Type | Capacity | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Keyless | 1-10 / 1.5-13 mm | Cordless drivers, rotary drills |
| Keyed | 1.5-13 / 3-16 mm | Heavy drilling, bench drills |
| SDS adapter | 1.5-13 mm | Straight shank bits in rotary hammers |
Frequently Asked Questions
Keyed or keyless?
Keyless is quick and covers most daily work. A keyed chuck grips harder against slip and is preferred at large diameters and in heavy drilling.
Why does my chuck slip?
Usually the shank exceeds capacity, the chuck was not fully tightened, or the jaws are worn. A chuck with worn jaws is replaced.
Which chuck fits my machine?
Check the thread (for example 1/2"-20 UNF). It is machine specific and the first thing to confirm.
Can I use ordinary bits in a rotary hammer?
With an SDS chuck adapter, yes — it takes cylindrical shank bits. Switch hammer action off in that mode, or the adapter and bit will be damaged.
