Electric Glue & Caulking Guns
These are two different tools: a hot melt gun melts a thermoplastic stick for fast bonding, while a cordless cartridge gun pushes sealant or adhesive at a steady rate. The catalogue holds over 40 models.

Hot melt guns and cartridge guns
On a hot melt gun the figures that matter are heat-up time, wattage and stick diameter (7 mm or 11 mm). Higher wattage keeps the temperature up during continuous work — that is where the real difference shows.
A cordless cartridge gun lays sealant far more evenly than hand pressure: with adjustable force and speed, the bead stays a constant thickness along the joint. Structural adhesives and high-viscosity sealants are hard work in a manual gun.
- 7 mm sticks: hobby and light assembly.
- 11 mm sticks: production work, higher feed rate.
- Cordless cartridge guns: 310 ml and 600 ml foil packs.
- Higher wattage means the temperature holds in continuous use.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does hot melt glue bond to?
Timber, card, fabric, most plastics and ceramics. It will not hold on low surface energy plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene and PTFE, or on oily surfaces.
What is the difference between 7 mm and 11 mm sticks?
Feed rate. An 11 mm stick delivers more adhesive per second and suits production work; 7 mm is enough for hobby and light assembly.
Why choose a cordless cartridge gun?
Adjustable force and speed give a bead of constant thickness, and high-viscosity sealants apply without strain. Over a long job it removes hand fatigue entirely.
Glue drips from the nozzle — is that normal?
Some drip after heating is normal, and is much reduced on models with an anti-drip valve. Rest the gun on its stand with the nozzle not pointing down.
