What a refillable aerosol can is for

A refillable can is an empty aerosol you fill with cellulosic, acrylic or synthetic paint in any colour and spray. It is the way to turn a shade not on the chart, a small mixed batch or a customer's own colour into an aerosol.

The can already contains thinner and propellant, so it must not be used with low-viscosity or pre-thinned paint — the paint will run and fail to cover.
